For information from USCIS on how to complete the Form I-589 and where you should mail it, visit the links below.

Use the Filing Tool to confirm whether you should send your asylum application to the USCIS Asylum Office or the Immigration Court.  (If you were previously in immigration court proceedings, pay special attention to questions and instructions the filing tool may provide.)

Once you confirm you are filing with the asylum office, you can use the Where to File link to confirm the address where you should send your application.  This link also contains additional information on how to complete your application.

Remember it is very important to file your asylum application within one year of your last date of entry into the U.S.

If you would like more resources on where and how to file, the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project provides a lot of helpful information here.
